Stroke Group Offer

Weekly Conductive Education sessions supporting stroke survivors with movement recovery and ongoing development.

About the Stroke Group

Our Stroke Group uses Conductive Education to support people who have had a stroke in their ongoing recovery. CE is uniquely suited to stroke rehabilitation because it treats movement recovery as an active learning process — not simply a passive exercise routine.

The group focuses on:

  • Transfers and mobility
  • Hand and fine motor skills
  • Breathing and speech
  • Confidence and independence in daily tasks

Sessions run during term time and are led by our experienced Conductors who are trained in post-stroke CE approaches.

Session Details & Pricing

Sessions last 1 to 1.5 hours and take place weekly during term time at our Smithy Wood building.

The cost to participants is £15 per session — the remainder of the cost is subsidised through grants and charitable funding, ensuring the group remains accessible to as many people as possible.
